Lisa's Story
Life
After graduation I attended WVU, and received a degree in elementary education, specializing in special education. I taught in Morgantown, Masachusetts, New York, and Virginia. I married Harold Zappia in 1989. In 1993 he was accepted into the Foreign Service (State Department) and became ...Expand for more
a diplomat. His job has taken us to Manila, Philippines; Paris, France; Asuncion, Paraguay; Riga, Latvia; Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; and now Madrid, Spain! As a friend recently said, they finally sent us somewhere where we could drink the water! We have two children-Daniel is 13 and Allison is 8.
