My Spouse
I met Shawn at my younger sister's wedding in February of 1996. We really hit it off immediately. He is the love of my life and I can't imagine ever being without him! He's an amazing person...husband, father and my best friend.
My Pets
A male Border Collie named Nitro and a female Border Collie named Destiny
My Kids
A son, Tyler Jet born 3/07/02 and twins, Jacob David and Courtney Kathleen, born 8/19/04. They are the light of my life! Being a mom truly is the best job in the world and the most rewarding.
My Job
Since the twins have been born I've become a stay at home mom. I love it, no place I'd rather be than here with my children.
Workplace
My first job was working concessions at El Paso Speedway Park. From there I went to A&L Boarding Kennels and then to Champs Sports at Cielo Vista Mall. Tired of working part-time I went to a temp agency to find full-time work. I ...Expand for more
soon found myself working at Henry Silverman Jewelers in their factory on the west side of El Paso, where I did accounts payable for all 30 showrooms nationwide. I worked there a little over 5 years until they sold the majority of the showrooms to Samuels Jewelers based out of Austin. I was offered to move to Austin with the new company, but couldn't leave my very soon-to-be husband and his family business here in El Paso. I stayed out of work for 4 months while I planned our wedding. In January of 2000, Shawn's family offered me a job "running" the office at their family owned construction company. I stayed there until July 2004, right before the twins were born. Now I am a full-time stay-at-home mom and wife. It is the hardest but most rewarding job I've ever had. I can't imagine anyone else taking care of and raising my kids just so I can go to work, I love being here for them all the time!
