Life
Update: 7.21.2010; Am currently battling breast cancer - diagnosed in Jan., 2010; had two surgeries; undergoing chemo at Dana Farber; and still have radiation and years of hormone therapy - but when I hit 5 years out - there is only a 5% chance of it coming back! Fabulous odds! And yes, I still love my life. After all, life is a journey. This happens to be an 'off-road adventure' for me. It is what it is. Things could be much worse - and yes, I feel very lucky.

h my life partner, and love the four seasons (except for shoveling snow). After teaching for a number of years in four different states, I finally got out of the classroom. I worked at the zoo; in the education department. It was a great job! After all, how many of you can go and pet a giraffe anytime you want?
After working there a couple of years, I took another job at a charter school running the office in the Upper School building.
Workplace
I love my job at the school! It is great having all of the holidays again!
