Lisa's Story
I always wanted to be a "Truck Driver" when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dumb idea. As it turns out, they were right. Well I did not become a truck driver, although from the weight of my foot sometimes on the pedal, you would think I was a "Truck Driver". LOL. I like fast cars as well as like to drive fast. My father-in-law once said, he never knew you could get to Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, GA from Sharpsburg, GA in 15 minutes until he followed me.
My inspiration comes from my Mom, she is one of the greatest ladies on earth. Obviously, I did not think this way when I was 15. However, as I got older I realized alot, she gave up a lot to raise my sibling's and I; and I am sure we did not make it easy for her so...Expand for more
metimes. She taught me that honestly is always the best practice; how to treat people fairly and look beyond what is in front of you; determination and most of all compassion. She still amazes me everyday!
Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. Growing up, I would have never dreamed that I would have had some of the opportunties that I have had. As I mentioned above, "the truck driver" idea; well that is because I wanted to see the "world". I would like to tell ya, I have gotten to see, visit, and stay in many of the US states as well as had to opportunity to visit Japan, Mexico, Taiwan, Singapore & the Phillipines. This has been my biggest surprise, I never imagined that I would have ever had the "nerve" to leave the country.
