Lisa's Story
Life
Well I had my son Steven when I was 17 in December of 1995 I married his father in February after I turned 18 we were married for 6 years during that time he was in the Navy we moved around quite a bit then in August of 1999 I had my daughter Juliene who is now 4. In May of 2002 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and June of that same year my husband and I separated I then moved back home with my parents and started my treatments for the cancer and I attended School at CEI I completed my chemotherapy in November of 2002 a and graduated CEI in May of t...Expand for more
his year and graduated as Valedictorian since then I have undergone 3 operations and I am now considered to be in Remission. During the time I was undergoing my chemotherapy my mother had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer as well and so we pretty much went through chemo the same time. I am now working at the school I attended and I have my 2 beautiful kids who are the light of my life. Life couldn't get any better then this. Given the fact that I had some hardship in my life I am still happy to be me and I am happy with the outcome of everything in my life.
