y 2008 Update: Well, in addition to the "Over the Hill" madness of getting a tattoo, I have decided it is high time for me to go back to school (online of course!) and finish my degrees. I have decided that a Bachelor's in Communications and a Masters in Publishing is the best fit for me. I know that our personal business will take off and that I need to enhance my administrative and accounting skills/knowledge with degrees in those fields, but I can always do the work I know how to do, and hire a CPA firm to handle the rest. At this time in my life, I strongly feel like doing what I would enjoy most, which is editing. So, I am biting the bullet and looking to get the degrees in the fields that will enable me to persue a new career in what I love, which is reading, editing and writing! Wish me luck :)! Workplace I have had my share of restaurants and "starter" jobs, as I suspect have many of you. I managed a couple of pet shops, and then got into accounting. I have managed a few accounting offices, and now I am managing our own business. By the way, KUDOS to those working moms out there! It is very hard to accomplish anything with a toddler! I try to do most of the work for our business from home, that way I can be a stay at home mom too and not have to put her in daycare until she is over 2 years old. It is not easy when she is awake! It is all about her! We are managing however, and I am looking into part time daycare for her in the spring, strictly for socialization and pre-k. Then maybe I can get all of my reports done!
