Listra's Story
Okkkkk, so what makes me memorable to those with whom I sat in class with and walked besides in the hallways and nodded and waved with a smile!! Uhmmm, I look like one of the Power Puff girls??? Nah!
I was a permanent fixture in the college library...that was me pushing that squeaky book-cart around the library while others gave me an annoying look as they pretended to study!
Which, by the way, I was able to justify by winning the Black History Essay Writing Contest three times!!! Not to mention, I earned several scholarships every semester and worked hard to secure my spot on the Dean's List. Yeess, I am a writer!

ght I was quite awesome until the coach inquired "Listra, did you say you are a Student Athlete or you have Athlete's Foot?? Now run around 20 laps, instead of standing there with your hands on you hips!!!".
Ahhh sweet memories...psychologically damaging or not! No amount of insults could dissuade me from showing up for practise on the Women's Soccer team, Women's Volley Ball team and the Soft Ball team!
The best night of my life was our Graduation Ball 2005. All the girls and guys that I sat with in class with for four years...typically in jeans and tee-shirt...we emerged that night in a spectacle of glamour and magical enchantment. A Princess I was for that night.
