Liz's Story
Hello Everyone
I was that kid in High School that was always hanging out in empty classrooms and the lunch room, rather than in the library or in a class that I should be attending.
I was a middle of the road kid, my clique was a mixture of some popular, some studious, and all of us slightly on the fringe.
My friends were Patty Heitz, Phyllis Mathis, Rita Suek, MaryBeth Martin, Lucy Gotz, Lynn Peterson, Ann Gerold, and though I didn't hang out with her much in HS, Emily Frederick. I also managed to get to know several others of you, but I was too shy to really develop a friendship with you back then. Shy, but a bit of a loud mouth - so you may remember me.
I didn't know my own worth, I had no real ambition other than to be popular...and I somehow fell short of all my "potential". While...Expand for more
that might sound pretty dismal, I had the best time of my "up to then" life in High School. I loved my friends there, and it will always be a good memory for me.
I changed a lot over the years. I achieved position in the work world that I would not have thought possible, never graduating from college. I married the most wonderful man, and he revolutionized the way I look at myself and my gifts. I have two grown children who changed my soul.
I have survived heartache, addiction, deaths, and trials that I never thought I could survive. And my life has been fun, challenging, rewarding, and I would not change a thing.
I am still friends with all of my HS buddies, and I would love to add you to the list of people in my life today. Write me. Let's reconnect or connect for the first time!
