Liz's Story
Life
Life, love and the pursuit of happiness.....
It took a good kick in the rear...but, I finally have gotten where I wanted to be. I spent the first few years after high school floundering in the sea of, "I don't know." They say that ignorance is bliss, well, I don't think so! Hind sight is everything and I wish I would have listened to the advise! But, better later than never....
I woke up at the age of 30, deep in debt and a very much humbled. But, God can do a lot with a person in four years. I am out of debt, have a wonderful husband, and a nice home to call mine. The only children are three fury critters who answer to the names of Belle, Sammy, and Miss Joy and meow to get our attention. They are very cute and help us in the most stressful of situations.
I have kept up with my music! Music is one thing that keeps me sane in life. I have been playing violin and trumpet in the church worship teams. Recently I have been developing my skills on the electric...Expand for more
violin with a band....it's been a lot of fun. I also write music and now am creating songs.
The wedding was wonderful; I still have to pinch myself at times to make sure it's all true. We are very blessed and happy.
College
I started out life after college not knowing what I wanted to do. After floundering for a year at the university of MN, I decided I would become a veterinary technician. This lead me to take a two year program at the Medical Institute of Mn (Now Argusey University). Upon graduation I searched for a job. The market at the time was flooded with vet techs and this didn't fare well for me. A year later I decided to go back to school to become a people tech (a medical laboratory technician) and spent another two years at the Lakeland Medical and Dental Academy. I have been working in this profession for seven and a half years now....and like what I do. I know it seems a little crazy to like to stick needles into people....but someone's got to do it!!
