Lizabeth's Story
Hello! It's been such a long time since I spoke with a lot of my friends from school, but I remember many of you like it was only yesterday! Isn't it funny how the people you meet early in life are the people you still think about so many years down the road and wish that somehow you could reconnect with them and find out whatever became of them and their lives? There are so many of you out there who can't imagine the profound effect you had on my life and I am forever grateful for the memories I treasure of those times. I had the unfortunate experience of being taken away from my childhood school friends at the end of 8th grade and relocated with my family to Texas. It took me a year to get used to that whole experience, but I still kept in touch with many of you via letters which I still treasure to this day! Over time I became very happy in my new surroundings and made many wonderful friends there, some of whom I still stay in touch with today. ears but made the decision to marry and had a son in 1974 who is the joy of my life. He has made my life so much richer by blessing me with three beautiful grandchildren whom I adore and have the opportunity to visit often. In 1985 I remarried and had two more children, a boy and a girl. My daughter is a beautiful girl with a generous spirit who does hair and my son is an aspiring artist who attended the Institute of the Arts. I have been very busy these last 35 years raising a family and working in various capacities involving sales and marketing, restaurant management, salon and spa therapy, middle school cheerleading coach, and ultimately fulfilled my lifelong dream of opening an antique store. My passion is shopping and acquiring treasures from another time and restoring them to their original beauty. I enjoy going to flea markets, estate sales and thrift stores hoping to recapture a place in time when things were a little less serious and people enjoyed a much simpler life. Along the way I have made many friends but remember you, my classmates, with much affection and hope that this website gives us all a chance to find each other again. I wish you all peace and happiness and hope to hear from you soon!
