Lloyd's Story
Life
Some people may know me better as Lonnie. Well, where do I start....after graduation I went to tech school in Ohio for about 8 months then came back to Maryland and worked. In March 1994 I re-kindled a relationship I had in Ohio and in August of that year I moved her and her two children to Maryland. We lived in 2 towns in southern MD before settling in Clinton in 1999. During this time we had two children, one of which tragically miscarried on Valentine's Day 1997 at 14 1/2 weeks gestation. This was the worst day of my life, having to hold my lifeless little baby boy in the palm of my hands. our dream trip to Ireland and Scotland. We had never experienced such beautiful places and the people were unbelievably friendly and generous. Within 2 months I went from the highest point in my life to one of the lowest, losing my job and 8 year career because of a selfish co-worker and the events of 9/11. In April of 2002 we decided it would be best to move to Ohio where my wife is from and begin from scratch. In May 2003 our second daughter, Emma, was born, only to once again have my life dashed when 2 months later my father died. In May of 2005 our "American Dream" was realized when we were able to purchase our first house. I decided it was time to return to school so I enrolled in college and am still undecided as to what major to pursue.
