Loann's Story
Life
Went into the Air Force right after high school. Got married then divorced. Had 4 children ( 2 of each). My oldest son was killed in a car accident Dec 14 of 2004. Have 10 grandchildren. Lived in California from Jan 1972 to May 2000. I moved to Tampa, Fl and was there from 2000 to 2010. Retired in Sept of 2004 from a fortune 500 company and bought a small flower shop. Closed the shop in November of 2005 and am now retired and living back in Michigan as of December of 2014. Most people think...Expand for more
I am nuts for coming back but you try to live in CA on a fixed income.
I have been back to Flint twice, both times to bury my parents. While I was there I went to the old neighborhood, high school and class hangouts. What a surprise that was!
Came out of the closet in 1972 that I was gay, and have been enjoying life ever since. We all must face facts when it comes to who we are inside. Respect is earned and not freely given so take me as I am or move on. I don't have time for false friends.
