Lois's Story

I left good old Porltand in l979 for life in the great city of San Francisco. Came out to visit Jim St. Paul in Los Gatos in May of 79. Took a trip up to SF to visit the former window designer at Kabachnick's. One day was all it took to know that this is were I need to be. Came back to CT and found three friends willing to make the move and we left on September 15, l979. We got jobs and found housing in a week. Those first years in SF were so much fun. d what would be the best job and career move I would ever make. I took a job as a receptionist in a small recruiting/staffing firm that specialized in legal. Worked for two companies over the years and in l999 started Anderson Staffing, Inc. in downtown SF. If anyone is moving to SF and needs help looking for a job look me up. We live in San Rafael and I cross the Golden Gate Bridge every day and still look out at the view and say how lucky we are. I have stayed close to several people in Portland and would love to hear from anyone who wants to say hello and catch up.
