Life
Married Russell Thayer (artist) 1956-70. Had two girls,one boy. Married Hillis Johnson (journalist)'76;he has two girls,one boy.Have six healthy, beautiful grandchildren.
H.S. English teacher15 yrs: School Social Worker 12. Retired '95. We love to sail, travel, be together.
We sold our last boat, a 36' Gulf Star motor sailor in August '02 as I'd had considerable back surgery in April '02. We are hoping to visit Ireland when I can walk better.

e harder to walk long distances but I keep trying. My husband has Alzheimers and has been living in a nursing home for over two years. He appears comfortable but doesn't talk though he laughs a lot.
Life goes on. I've recently moved to the country and my two cats, "Alice" and "Flo" can watch the antics of the resident donkey and llama and enjoy the chickens and their eggs.
The hope is still there to visit Ireland. My husband can't come but my daughter could. Maybe my new found cousin in Yorkshire England, would travel across the Channel to meet us.
