Lois's Story
Life
My husband and I live in Southwest Virginia near Roanoke. We moved from Northern Virginia (near Washington, DC) and retired in 1999. We lived in Northern Virginia (Woodbridge) for almost 45 years.
We, now live on a huge 500 mile shoreline resort lake.
I have been painting and doing craft shows since 1999. After retirement, I wanted to expand on the love of my life which is painting. Never had the time while working a full time job. care of our home and yard work. This is in the Spring and Summer. The Fall and Winter, we usually take our 34 ft. 5th wheel and go to the Tampa Bay area of Florida. We go back to the same adult RV park every year because we have made so many friends from all over the USA and Canada. We usually stay four months. We are fortunate to have wonderful neighbors who watch over our home while we are traveling around.
Our health is fairly good and we thank God for a good life. We have so much to be thankful for and we do thank Him everyday for the blessings we receive.
