Loismarie's Story
Life
I'm married to Bob Loar, a software engineer in Toledo, for over 30 years now. We moved from Tiffin to near Gibsonburg....about halfway between Fremont and BG.
We have 15 children, 12 natural and 3 adopted, ages 34 down to 6. We have 7 girls and 8 boys. I'm currently home schooling our 4 younger children, have 2 in high school , and 9 "adults", 6 of whom are married. Our little Nancy just got engaged on Sept. 14, 2007 and is planning on marrying her Chris summer 2008...we have 13 grandchildren, and 2 more due Dec. 2007 and April 2008.
We have 2 military sons, one a Sergeant in the US Army Reserves(now discharged), who served in Iraq in 2006, and the other, a Lieutenant ...Expand for more
in the US Army, stationed in Hawaii, deploying to Iraq Fall 2007.
Our Army Reservist is now a Wood County Sheriff's deputy. So, watch how you drive in Wood County!:-O He loves his job! However, he particularly enjoys watching out for his brother's high school friends....he'd like to be the officer assigned to their high school(and his former high school) at some point.
I'm busily involved in music ministry at BG Alliance Church. I moderate a website for abuse victims to talk about their healing process and have a parenting blog .
I'm still enjoying being a mom of younger kids, and a grandma all at the same time.
All in all, life is good, it's busy, and I'm never bored!
