Lonney's Story
My name is Lonney Chapman Smith. I am a semi-retired commercial model & magazine photographer with a small studio in Waterford NY. I was born in NYC grew up mostly in Upstate NY. I have been married twice and have two boys ages 27 and 14 neither of whom live with me. I am a college grad. and a USMC Vet. I also have studied and worked for eight years as a chef for a major hotel in Albany NY. I have also taken many certificate and credit programs relating to computers. I have been a radio DJ, retail sales manager, a supervisor at McDonalds and other minor jobs. I have been divorced about nine years and live alone with my two beautiful white cats Patches & Cutie,(mother & daughter), both pure white young ladies,that I found as stray street...Expand for more
cats, and are very good buddies. I am a true animal lover. When I was a full time commercial magazine and female model's photographer I worked extensively in the Caribbean, on several islands, and in the New England States. My favorite Caribbean island is St. Martin. Now, I mostly help models get started by sharing my knowledge, experience, talent and time with them. I don¿t get paid much but I enjoy doing it and it keeps me young. Most of my photography now is new models and sceanic views. I was the main photographer for a book involving senic & historic site in 1983 for the Albany County N.Y. Tricentennial. I also teach senior citizens beginning computer skills. I enjoy meeting new people, chatting and sharing interests & ideas. ..
