Lora's Story

After High School I worked for State Farm Insurance for two years and then packed up and moved to Utah, on my 20th birthday, to go to school. That didn't last long at all. I got really really sick and after only 5 weeks I headed back to good old Stockton. In 1992 I got married to Kimball Jensen. In 1993 we had our first son - Justin In 1994 we had our second son - Joshua In 1996 we had our third son - Collin In 1998 we had our fourth son - Preston In 2001 we had our fifth son - William In 2005 we had our ONLY daughter - Kaylee Our family moved to Utah in 1999 because my husband had a job with Novell (a large computer software company). I hated Utah the first two years that I lived there because I missed my extended family so much. In early 2002 we moved back to California and lived in Manteca. At the end of 2002 I started my own Internet business. I started missing Utah and when your business...Expand for more
is online and you can work anywhere you want so we decided, in May of 2004, to have a house built in Utah and move back. I live in Saratoga Springs, Utah on a hill overlooking Utah Lake. I love it here. I miss California at times but I don't see myself ever moving back. Utah is a very safe place to raise kids and that gives me peace. I hadn't talked to anyone from High School since school ended in 1989 which has always made me sad. This all changed on Super Bowl Sunday of this year (2008) when I got a surprise call from Tina Hales, my best friend during elementary and Jr high years. It's like no time had past when we talked. I've been back to California to visit her and she's been out to Utah twice now to visit with me. It's been a blast which has made me really want to reconnect with other old friends.
