Lorel's Story
I am a mother of two , Jenny (just got married) and Bob who is on his own. I have my own business teaching art and I do Respite care for disabled adults. I have been separated for 3 years and heading for divorce. I have lived the last 25 years in Alaska on a home stead with no running water and wood heat... no that is not why I am getting a divorce! I loved that life style. We raised our own food, garden and animals, and lived...Expand for more
off the land. It is a beautiful state. The air is clean and the water is clear. Mountains all around. 9 months of winter though! Snow and 20 degrees the end of October, 40 - 60 below in January, end of May the grass starts to turn green. Average summer temp is around 65 -70 degrees.
I home schooled our kids to graduation. And we did construction. My plans after the divorce is to come back to my old stomp'n grounds for a while.
