Life
I was a very short girl with brown hair & brown eyes. I had a sister named Annette. We lived around the corner from the Church of Christ across the street from Tommy Barnes, Polk and Vivian Chaffin, Mrs. Petty, next door to Annas Hughes and her mother. We bought milk from Mrs. Cluck. Visited with the Stilley girls. Played with Calvin and Lula Belle Barnes girls that their father named Wad, Wart and I can't remember the other daughter's name or nickname. Also played with Sharon McAdoo and her little sister. nt by our mother, Grace Marie Koons, to buy food at John Dewbry's store. The bus stop was there. We moved to Tishomingo when I was in the sixth grade.
There were 3 girls and 8 boys in our class. The three girls were Me, Linda Copeland and Lucille Hodges. I remember Tex and Allen Marsh. Jerry Houser was another boy. Charles Jones was another. There was a Jones Boy I thought was named Jimmie. My sister says no he was in her class. We had no playground equipment at school because some child broke their arm and they took it out. We loved to play softball at recess. My cousins' names were Frances Jean, Janice and JoAnn Koons.
