Loretta's Story

I came to Hagerstown the summer after graduation and got a job with the Credit Bureau. Met Robert Bowers, married had three children, now have six grandchildren. Divorced after 34 years of marriage. I worked for the Federal Government for 35 years, retiring in 2008, and love to travel. Have been to England, Scotland, and Ireland several times, Germany, France, Holland, and Switzerland. usband in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and to Paraguay with my other daughter whose husband is from there. Also have been to all but 4 of the US States, including Alaska, and Hawaii. Hope to get the other 4 in during the next year or so. I have been an active member in St James Brethren church since 1958. Have lived in my present home for 19+ years and love to work in my yard and garden. God has been and is very good to me.
