Lori's Story
Hey! I am pleased to be on Classmates, to network and stay in touch...
My high school years were somewhat tumultuous. I spent freshman & sophomore years in Juneau, junior year at Service High in Anchorage and then moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated through an alternative program from Cubberly in Palo Alto, California. I was once "adopted" by JDHS Class of 1974 and loved attending their 10-Year Reunion in 1984. I still consider that class "what should have been", if not for my parents...Expand for more
' divorce and subsequent loss of bearings.
After spending some time back in Anchorage and then, Southern California, I did get it together after marrying Steve Neilson (West Anchorage High School '72) and graduated from UAA in 1983 with my BSN. I spent almost 38 years an RN in the neonatal ICU with Providence Health & Services before blissfully RETIRING! Steve and I now make our home in the Coeur d'Alene area of northern Idaho. Life just gets better!
