Lori's Story
Life
I have 2 children one 26 yrs old [ daughter] one 28 yrs old [son] 5 grandchildren. I have been married 3 times. The third one is definatly a charm!!!!!!! I retired from working and am now a housewife. I live in Washburn, Mo. I have 1 pet now, Cody was a 16 yr old min Pin dog on Feb 26 2008 I had to have Cody put to sleep... Old age and illness took a toll on the poor little guy........ Callie is my cat she will be 3 yrs old in April.. I am married to Ron Baker he's an owner operater truck driver. I go out on the road with him from time to time in our 2005 Peterbilt. My father Ed Chick passed away in July 2007 and since then I have chose not to communicate with my sister Anna due to vicious attacks that she has made against me on the internet.. Other then that life has been wonderful to me and my little family. I hope to hear from old classmates and friends. I hope your lives are as happy and fullfiled as mine is. I don't think I'll ever move from Missouri its a great place to live and the people here are wonderful!!! We also don't get much snow here which is great!!! Would love to hear from old friends and classmates!! Drop me a line anytime!! If you want to contact me do so at browneyes dot 18 at netzero dot com .. I would love to get a little message from all who visits my profile just to let me know how you are doing now!! Hope you enjoy the pictures I have posted. For those of you that know me you know that i left Mattawan in 1978 to move to Arizona. I attended Mesa High and Westwood high during my Junior Year of high school. I didnt go back for my Senior Year because I worked full time to help my mom out with the bills. In 1979 I attempted to get into the Air Force. I took the Military GED test and the Mil...Expand for more
itary enterance exam and passed them with flying colors. Unfortunatly I couldn't pass the physical!! I was 1/2 inch too short to get in!! You had to be 5 ft to get into the Air Force and I am only 4 ft 11 1/2 in tall lol !!! Oh well im glad I didnt get in because if I did I wouldnt have my two wonderful children today!!! I wouldnt change anything in my life that I have went through because it has made me a stronger and more caring person. I have went through alot of bad times in my life but I have grown from them. I always have said " If you think your life is so bad, take a look around you and there will always be someone else out there who's life is worse!!" also " Be greatful for all that you have in life and everyone who loves you because there are alot of people out there who have nothing and noone!!" My life has turned out just as i always wanted it to. It may have took alot of bad times and hard knocks to get here but I am here and thats all that matters!! Well have a great day!! Hope you let me know you visited!! I will add more pictues as I get more to add. I love sharing my life and my family with everyone who wants to know about us.
2009 was not too bad a year.. The economy hit home as it has with so many people but we have survived.. I have reunited with several long lost friends and relatives over the last year.. My kids are doing as well as can be expected.. I joined the American Legion Womans Auxilary and do the cooking for all our meetings so it gives me an outside activity. I havent traveled much over the past year because I have had alot of things that kept me busy at home.. I hope that 2010 will be a better year for everyone!! Keep those who love you close and safe.. Have a great year in 2010!!!
