Lori's Story
Left Chicago in 1994 and moved my family up to Wisconsin. Miss the city and especially the old neighborhood so much. Can't afford to go back now.
My husband's name is Leigh and he is a wastewater plant operator in a small town near Madison, WI. I care for my 98 year old father with Alzheimer's. My children are 22, 21 and 15 now. What was I thinking??
I'm still working on my college degree a little at a time. Did much of my schooling through DePaul University in 91 and 92, but still have several classes to go. Now I take online classes through the University...Expand for more

Several years ago I tracked down my 5th grade teacher. Sr. Isabella Toher. She lives at the BVM mother house in Dubuque, IA. I've visited her a couple of times and it is such a beautiful place. Way up on a hill overlooking the Mississippi River. She is well and as feisty as ever! They have a cemetery on the grounds and I did get to see the gravesite of Sr. Mary St. Edna. Remember her??
I attended the 2005 reunion and was so happy to see so many people I grew up with. I didn't get to the one in '06, but am hoping to get to the one this year.
