Lori's Story
Hello Piper people! Remember me? I was only at Piper from 10-11th but still remember it as "my" high school. I was in journalism/newspaper, but that's about it.
I'm now an artsy-phartsy, tree hugging, bunny lovin, vegetarian (since 1980).
I got a degree as a veterinary technician from St. Petersburg Junior College, but instead of using it to work in vets offices, I became a rep for a veterinary dermatology company and traveled the southeast US extensively, calling on vets and farms and schools.

18 which kept causing problems with the constant traveling, so I finally had to stop working in the late 80's.
I wrote a book called A Shopper's Guide to Cruelty-Free Products (Bantam, 1991) which is so out of date you can buy it for a nickel at Amazon, lol. I also design digital scrapbook products for ScrapGirls.com.
I live in Tampa where I create art, garden, take care of stray animals and my elderly father.
I never married (can't mate in captivity) and have no kids (dodged that bullet!). I'm a soft heart for any stray animal so have way too many of them.
