Lori's Story
I was a skinny little four eyed girl from Maywood,IL. I had a very good childhood. I had lots of friends. I went to High School-Proviso East until I transferred to a private school and took accelerated classes to graduate early. July 93 at 17yrs old I joined the Airforce. I went to basic at Lackland AFB, San Antonio,TX.From their I went to Sheppard AFB,TX. My first duty station was McChord AFB,WA.Next was March AFB,CA, San bernardiino(old Norton AFB)CA, Osan Air Base, South Korea and then Vogelweh(Raimstein AFB,Germany). I had a great time in the military. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything in the world.I've been to places some only dream about.Other countries I've been to are: Japan, Paris, France, Spa...Expand for more
in and England. In Germany I met my husband and after 7 month's we married. We've been married now 10 years and have three beautiful children. After Germany I medically retired at 100%.MY husband was still on active duty until he retired in feb 2002 from Fort Hood in Texas. We bought our first home and baby #3 came soon after. We stayed in the area but now we are heading to Houston area. My father is from that area. He is a Chaplain(Maj)in the Air Force Active Reserves. Jesus is first in my life, because without Him we would be nothing. His sacrifice on the cross, is the reason we have the blessings that we have! With CHRIST all things are possible! Accept Him before it's to late. Heaven is real and so is hell!!!
