Lori's Story
Life
Andy Piecuch and Lori (Flood) Piecuch joined the Navy in 1973. After serving four years, we moved back to Illinois where we now reside. We have been married since 1974 and have two children, Todd and Stacia. Lori is in Human Resource management and Andy works for a major telecommunications company.
Military
I enlisted in the Navy in 1973 right out of high school. I did my basic training in Orlando, Florida, Company 3439, graduated in November, 1973. My best buddies were Cindy Jessup and Cheryl Makholm.

go Storekeeper school. When I completed school I received orders to NAS Roosevelt Roads where I spent 13 months working in supply. My husband, Andy Piecuch, came there with his SeaBee battalion NMCB 5. We went home and got married. I then transferred to MCAS El Toro where I spent 6 months until a billet opened at Port Hueneme, Ca. 31st NCR. I completed my military obligation there. I worked for a retired Gunny Sgt. Jack Layton while there as well as Lt. Jamie Cannon. In October 1977, Andy and I moved back home to Illinois where we have been since.
