of high school, and Bay High for my senior year.
After graduation I attended the Univ. Of Southern Miss. for my freshman year, and then transferred to Millsaps College to complete my degree.
I moved to Los Angeles in '84, but relocated to Florida in late '87 after the Whittier quake and hearing that my mother needed help setting up her new home (Dad got a job at NASA). Mom passed away suddenly in December 1990.
I stayed in Florida and worked in accounts payable departments for two companies in the Orlando area; taught 7th, and 8th grade, Middle School Language Arts.
Currently I am unable to work, and classified medically disabled (BORING). I miss my students and teacher freinds. I hope to get back in the classroom as a volunteer during the 2010-2011 school year.
My father is alive and well in Melbourne, FL. While my sister joined the United States Navy, and is a Lieutenant Commander in the Judge Advocate General Corps. She is married, has two beautiful daughters, and is currently stationed in Newport, RI.
I have struggled with my health for my entire life. After many doctors, and several surgeries (spinal surgery to remove a disk between C3 & C4, carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists, another to remove a bone spur and repair torn ligaments and muscle in my left shoulder, I was FINALLY diagnosed with Spondlyo, as well as Rheumatoid, Arthritis. I am currently seeking my SSI disability.
I have two dogs - a 7 year old Pug, and a 14 year old Black Lab, wonderful friends; and am excited to connect with old, and new friends.".
