College Straight out of high school, I attended Boston University School of Fine Arts with the intention of graduating in 1974 with a BFA. I had an amazing freshmen year there but family problems forced me to take a year off then attend a more affordable New Jersey state school. I chose Glassboro State (now called Rowan) because my boyfriend was going there! But I don't regret it, I made a lot of friends, learned a lot, graduated magna cum laude in 1975, and think my years there helped me a lot. My heart still belongs to Boston, however, and I moved to Newton, MA, a Boston suburb, in October 2005. Sometimes I feel like I commute between Boston and New Jersey, however, because I'm back in NJ seeing family at least every 8 weeks! Workplace For years, I built a small part time Shaklee business that allowed me to work at home while I raised my little girl as a single parent.
