Life Hello to all, Well where do you start? After high school I didn't really know what I wanted to do. I went to Chabot College for a while and on a whim took several aviation classes and decided to work for the airlines. I worked as a flight attendant on a helicopter. Weird I know. This was a Sikorski S61 26 passenger military converted chopper. It was called SFO Helicopter and flew around the SF bay. I worked for them until they liquidated in 1976. I then worked as a ticket agent for Transamerica Airlines out of the Oakland Airport. They are a charter airline. Well evidently I got bored so I moved to Lake Tahoe in July of 1979. It was then that my life took its strange twist. I kind of stumbled into law enforcement and ended up making it my life career. I retired after 22 years in February of 2005. During the time that my husband and I were working full time as Sheriff's Sergeants, I guess we thought that we had too much other time on our hands and decided to start a business called "Sierra Custom Embroidery". It was just my husband and me working out of our house. This was embroidering logos on clothing, hats, etc. We even did boat seats and duffle bags. Word of mouth was so strong that we never even had to advertise. There was so much work we had trouble keeping up.
