Lorelei's Story

Life I lived all around the east coast during my elementary years then my family moved out to California when I was in 6th grade. I stayed in Cali until 1986 when I decided to join the Army! I completed 5 years in the Army until I had a horrible accident. After 6 months of being hospitalized, and 1yr of rehab. I was finally dischared with a medical. I have been through many surgeries since that accident (36) to be exact, but I have to say I am happy I'm still alive. While in The Army I got married, but after 16yrs we finally divorced. you can. At this present time, I live in Aurora Colorado. When I am not working in the Operating room, I find myself rescuing cats who are homeless. I also foster and find cats good homes. It makes mee feel good to know that they are no longer on the streets without someone to take care of them. Sometimes I miss the weather, beach, and friends I had in Cali, but for now I have a home I always wanted but could not afford in California, a house with my backyard overlooking a gold course, 14th hole to be exact.
