My biggest crush in our class??? Maybe J. Peterson. smiles...OF course you had to put me on the spot...ahahahhah I don't know because all the sporty and preppy boys were pretty nice to a farm girl like me. Our class really did have a lot of nice looking men. I loved going to all the football and basketball games when I got the chance. Sometimes I would have time to go to the wrestling matches. Like any high school girl...who wasn't checkin them out...??? All the athletic ones seemed to always be taken, so I looked and looked, and eventually they talked to me during my senior year...which was great. Thanks guys. I remember the boys talking to me, and dating during the summer. Mostly the dates were from Worthington, Fulda or Adrian where my cousins went to school. Remember our rivals right???? Who didn't ....that was the fun part. I dated a couple from the class of 1990, and 1992 as well. Gary Clarke thanks for all the great memories and friendships. You were wonderful. But I DID think our class topped them all with dating and the funny moments.
Does anyone remember when MR. HOLINKA tripped over the pig in 8th grade science? or was it 7th grade?? It was so funny and he was embarrassed. But it was cute. Remember when we got mooned in band practice? Or do you remember study hall and who got in trouble??? We never passed notes. Well maybe sometimes. I remember getting in trouble once or twice.
Remember there were two Sieve girls. I am one of the twins. The older one by 3 minutes. ahhahaah whatever...right...but to a twin...this is a big DEAL....well...NOT any more. We are just sisters. Lisa is now in the Twin Cities with her family. In school, We had to compete on just about everything but we did maintain very good grades. Being a twin wasn't easy...but it was fun. I loved band, choir, speech and sports.
I loved meeting Melissa and Mark Beerman in kindergarten and 1st grade. In kindergarden I think I was a bit shy. I lear...Expand for more
ned over the years. It was interesting. Then we started all hanging out that one summer. They were our neighbors, and loved hanging out with them. What a ride home on the school bus. Every day 18 miles to and from school. Wow...but to girls, this was a LONG time. I survived that too. Thanks for all the wonderful memories and what you have given to our families. What a great bunch of classmates.
Another memory....In elementary, I remember the sleep overs at Stacie Dirksens house. Do you all remember too? Her sister Dana was so tolerable of our sleep overs and getting into her stuff. We sure did love the comfy van with recliners and the great camper out back. I loved their farm and how we could always find means of getting into trouble. But I survived it all and wow look at the memories now.
I remember I was in Mr. Carrol's class in sixth grade and Lisa was in Mr. Sandberg's. We switched rooms on the day I had a math test and Lisa had a social studies trivia day. That was interesting. Mr. Sandberg didn't figure our trade out until I was completed with the exam. We did love that on the teachers.
Or on April fools day, trading out in the high school. No one really noticed until we were called and asked to present our homework. We were done for. But it was a blast!
My senior year, my parents told us they were having a new baby. OH boy!! smiles...On my high school graduation, I had a baby in my arms....NOT mine...REALLY?? smiles...remember my parents had him when I was a senior...how embarrassing but funny. Everyone (friends, neighbors, and faculty) thought coming in our home, that it was mine??? NOT!!...cute huh...but it was my little brother who still attends Fulda High School. Whew...He is now in the 7th grade. Cool history....Heres some trivia
Does anyone know too...that Barb Sieve-Estrem is another family member of mine and she used to go to Fulda High School too. She was the cute blonde, and the cheerleader back in the 70's.
