Lori's Story
Chuck & I were married right after high school, then moved to Tombstone a couple of months later. We have two sons. Chase is a nurse at UMC; he's 28 years old. Philip is almost 26, a manager for Radio Shack, is married and has a daughter. They both live in Tucson. It was strange having our kids be "Tombstone Yellowjackets"!
We ran the Napa Auto Parts store here in Tombstone until 1989 when Chuck went into kidney failure. He underwent dialysis for 15 months then had a kidney transplant. sease and heart problems. But we've also been very blessed in so many ways; our faith in God is what keeps us going!
I've had several different jobs over the years since the transplant. I currently work in the business office for the Tombstone Pharmacy. I also do cake decorating and crafts. And I'm the artistic creator and part owner of "Tombstone - The Family Game". It's a board game that takes you on a tour of the town. It's been a fun experience.
High School sometimes seems like a million years ago; sometimes like it was just yesterday. Some great memories, but I wouldn't do it again for a million dollars!
