Lori's Story
After Henderson HS, I graduated from North Georgia College with a BBA in Marketing. I worked for the FDIC, then returned to North Georgia College for a MEd in Middle Grades Education. I taught middle school in Gwinnett County for eleven years. I graduated from University of Georgia in 2006 with an EdS in Educational Administration & Policy. I have changed careers to be a Sales Representative for educational publishers: Glencoe/McGraw-Hill (for 3 years) and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (currently).
My boyfriend and I have some "future decisions" to make, so we'll see... I adore my two nieces, two cats and one sweet dog!

built a house in Cumming, GA, and I'm having fun "playing in the dirt" trying to plant flowers, etc. I have a huge "things to do" list! But it's fun!
I regret not keeping up with MORE friends from Midvale ES and Henderson HS...because I've realized that some of the friends I DID keep up with were not as loyal as I thought they were. It's a fact of life, I suppose...I just wish I had realized it a long time ago. Life lesson learned...
Just today I was thinking about three old friends from Midvale AND Henderson, and one from Tucker HS, who passed away at TOO young of an age. It makes you realize just how short life is...
