Lori's Story
I was a quiet one in school with those who I did not really hang around with. In my senior year I was on the Pep club at Hunter High, and the Debate team.
After school I decided to take time away from school and join the Army. I was only in for 5 months due to an injury received during basic training.
I spent time just hanging out with my friends and working jobs here and there.
I got married in 1994 to my first husband,and shortly after had my oldest son, Dylan. We got divorced in 1998, while I was pregnant with my second child, Misty. Soon after she was born I went back to school for a year. I received a 1 year certificate in...Expand for more
Admin/Business Office. I had my third child in mid 2001, and got married to my second husband in 2002. We were married for a short time and in 2005 we got divorced.
I moved from Utah in mid 2005 to Springfield, IL and that is where my current and final husband and I married. I am currently enrolled in Robert Morris College going for my Bachelors degree in Accounting. I have only 15 months left.
It has been a ride for me these past several years, and any advice I give to my children, are go to college as soon as possible. It is very difficult to work 2 jobs, go to school and be a mom and wife. I am doing it, but I feel the stress.
