Lori's Story
Life
I have been living in the San Francisco Bay Area for the last decade. (No snow - ever!) I have spent many many years in school but wrapped that era up when I completed my PhD in 2001. I am married and we have three children - a five year old son and infant twin girls. This August my work is taking us all to London for a year's adventure. (Lots of rain but still no snow!)

er working a few years as a high school teacher, I returned to university and earned my PhD in educational research. I specialize in organizational and public policy analysis. For the last two years I have worked as a research fellow at UC Berkeley. This autumn I am headed to London to study the growing British teacher shortage and the relative success of the public policy efforts to address it.
