Lorne's Story
Life
I haven't received enough regular feedback to maintain a regular mmembership here but like to check back occcasionally to see if any more familiar names have materialized (date of this check in is Jan 05 2011)
After leaving Regina in '79 I lived in Edmonton till '87 During which time I was married very young and quite briefly yeilding me 2 beautiful daughters and susequently at this point (jan 2011) 6 grandkids. Planned parenthood?? Hmm no thanks. I moved to Vancouver and stayed there till 2000 at which time I came back to Edmonton, and around then having the last of my 3 daughters who incidently is mereley a few months older than my eldest granddaughter, that planning thing again, that was a bad move scenery wise but a lot of other aspects were quite nice, near grandkids, help out my Mother and live in a place with distinct seasons yet again.Time rolled on and upon the passing of my mother in 2008 I moved back to British Columbia and currently live in New Westminster.

have died of cirossis by now or apprehended after a shooting spree from atop a grain silo or clock tower yet no, my path was much less flamboyant yet pretty much as disappointing :) Highly successful career in underachievement, staggering into "the trades" a few decades back (riff raff can always get trade employment regardless of level of coherence I found) meshing neatly with a strong inclination towards overindulgence to put it quaintly.
Was lucky enough to put the substance issues in the past but sadly never got a corner office anywhere but have attained some serenity, happiness and peace. Really more than I expected cest le vie..
Have a strong place in my heart for Regina though and have to go back some summer (only in the summer mind you) and walk around the old hood to see what memories can be triggered in this jaded crusty old cerebellum of mine.
