Lorri's Story
Life
After graduation I went to Northwest Christian College in Eugene, Oregon. Met my 1st husband there. Married him in 1965. We went to Phillips University in Enid OK in 1966 for seminary for him and I graduated from Phillips University in 1968. From there we moved to Bartlesville, OK. I taught Jr Hi PE for one year. My daughter Julie was born there. We lived in Bartlesville from 1969-1972. We moved to Billings, MT in 1972. He was the pastor of the 1st Christian Church. Around 1978 he became the campus minister at Eastern Montana College. Our second child, Matthew was born in 1974. In 1975 I became the director of Continuing Education at Rocky Mountain College. e in 1978. We lived together until 1983 when we got married. In 1983, I began selling real estate. It was about the worst time in history to sell real estate in Billings. In 1987 I went back to school at Eastern Montana College and received my masters in counseling in 1992. I now have my own counseling practice. I love working on our 1906 Queen Anne home, along with flower gardening and collecting antiques. We have a small plane and we've enjoyed hopping around the country to see my family, going to Blues Festivals and doing geneological research. My children, now 37 and 34 years old, both live in Bozeman, MT, only a 2 hr. drive or a one hour flight. I love that they are both so close. In 1963 I would have never quessed I would spend most of adult life, 33 years, in Billings, MT. I've found I love having 4 seasons a year and yes even the snow.
