Lorri's Story
Life
My life Bio-hmmm. It definitely isnt what I thought it would be, but actually, it is better! I graduated college and married a wonderful man in December 2004. His name is Cammon Randle. He is from Provo, Utah. He actually does look like Tom Cruise. We were at a restaurant one night and a guy came up and gave Cammon a card. This guy wanted to be Cammon's agent and get him as a stunt double for Tom.
We bought a house by Utah Lake and are enjoying life. No kids yet, no dogs yet either, but eventually :)
College
So I came out to Utah to attend BYU. I went from Athletic Training to English and finally settled on Communications as my major. I was going to be Broadcast Journalism, but had a hard time reading the prompter screen! They sent me to the control room and when I saw all the screens and buttons to push I knew what was for me. I worked for a station in the area that went by satalite to the world. My main job was technical director for all the college sports. s married with both of us having one semester left. It was tough making mortgage payments and school, but both of us being in the same major helped. When I worked, he went to class for me. When he worked I went to class for him. A great tag team effort!
Workplace
The workplace, well this is easy, my work place is at home! My husband and I own a Corporate Multi Media production company. We do promos, training, seminars, event coverage and advertisements. We work with several large and small companies helping them with media work.
My husband does all the video work. I do all the paperwork with the scheduling, accounting, and contracts. We both collaborate on the creative side, coming up with catchy advertisements, logos and designs. My title in the company is Producer/Marketing.
We have tons of fun, especially working with each other. Sometimes people ask us how we do it as co-workers and husband/wife. It is hard to seperate, and close the office doors. But, I am the boss at work and the boss at home. The roles never change and that makes it all the easier!
