Lorri's Story
Life
After graduating in 1988 I joined the U.S. Army as a machinist. I met the father of my children in AIT after finishing basic training in New Jersey. We married before serving in Germany. I got pregnant 3 months after getting married so 1 month before I delivered my son, while in Germany, I was discharged honorably by choice. . Three years later I had a little girl while he was serving at Ft. Hood Texas. The draw down caught us and we moved to Alabama where he continued to serve in the Army NG. After 17 years of marriage we divorced and I moved to Boise Idaho. I have a wonderful man in my life and my daughter is living with me. My son is serving his country in the Army NG and has started his college career to become a chemical engineer. I am blessed and happy!
