Life
Here I am, still in Winnipeg, happily married to Cheryl (went to Grant Park), with two lovely daughters: Brenna & Brittany.

College
Whew. 6 years and 2 degrees later, I was out. The best year was 1979 when I wasn't allowed to work during the summer because of the scholarship I had ... so I went to Europe for 8 weeks instead (ISE M22-1979). Aww, isn't that too bad.
Workplace
In the Market Forecast Department, we do the long-term 20 year electric forecast for ...Expand for more
the Province as well as detailed 2-year gas forecast extended out to 10 years. In order to get the data we need for forecasting, we collect billing data, do extensive customer surveys (15,000 at a time), and develop and run complex analysis and forecasting models.
As the Department's Database and Model Development Supervisor, I've had a hand in the design and development of our major models. As well, I've put together our extensive database system we call the CIDB (Customer Information Database), and have extended it to be a web application on our Intranet that is used by hundreds of employees in our Company.
Our Department is made up of the greatest group of workers you could imagine. It is a joy to come to work everyday. Our Department works with just about every other Department in the Company and it is so interesting being in the middle of everything that is going on.
