So, they say everyone has a story, and mine is not particularly long, or interesting. Like most, messed around a bunch after school...Found myself with Oil running in my viens after working on Oil drilling rigs in Alberta. All the rest is kind of predictable...Grew up finally, started a great career, met a gal, settled, married, spawned some youngsters, both of whom I am proud, and continued to let the oil take my soul. Currenyly after serving more than 26 years as a faithful servant to one employer, who has always been good to me, I currently find myself working on the West Coast of Africa, in the the Congo. The work is filled with challenge and can be intense, yet the rewards are many and huge by most accounts, so all in all, my life has been rich in so many ways. I have one life long goal yet to achieve, and maybe later this year, or next, which will be to visit the grave of my uncle Louis, who is buried in Tanzania (Dars el Salam), on the east coast ...Expand for more
