I'm a chief engineer in the merchant marines. I live in Pensacola, Florida and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I work in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico on a large anchor handling vessel. I am the chief engineer on this vessel. On my off time, I try to spend as much time with my girlfriend in Rio de Janeiro as possible. I get to Rio 3 or 4 times a year. ost engineers do. My girlfriends name is Livia, and she is from the city of Salvador in the state of Bahia in Brazil. I met her while I was working out of the small city of Vitoria in the state of Espirito Santo in Brazil. Besides spending a lot of time at sea, life has been good to me, I wouldn't change any of it. I will spend this Christmas on the boat but Carnaval in Rio.
