Louise's Story
I started going to Lake Hamilton in my Freshman year. I was never part of any crowd of people... I was a loner. I was over weight and worked in the kitchen during lunch. I can say that I worked there so I could eat more for free and get out of class early. I barely made it through High School, I had terrible grades. My favorite teacher was Mr. Akins? He taught Science and Driver's Ed. I had different friends every year. Ella Smith and Bobbie Johnson were my friends. Ella graduated in 77 and Bobbie in 78. In my senior year my best friend was Sandra Buhiette. I was also friends with Debbie Davis and Robin ?? they were cheerleaders in my freshman year. I was 17 and didn't want to go. I got pregnant right out of school and had my son. He is 30 years old and I have 3 granddaughters that live in Hot Springs. By the time I graduated I weighed almost 250 pounds and I never wore makeup. I just stayed to myself. I do not weigh 250 pounds anymore, I weigh 120. I live in Las Vegas for the last 25 years. I have been a cocktail waitress and a Captain in the Culinary Union in some of the best restaurants here. I am now enrolled in College and making A's. I am making up for lost time. I am wondering if anyone will remember me from school at this reunion. I remember all of you!! I had crushes on several of the guys in school but, they didn't know it.. I am wondering what they look like now and are they still as sexy as I thought they were then.
