Louise Hersey:  

Life Born Louise Hall, 1947 jax. fl. you know when I graduated. married Dean Hersey from Fernandinia Beach Fl. 1967. We have three very good children. Two girls Kelly the oldest is now a P.A and employed with the University of Fl., Kristie married and living in Mi. a house wife and one son Brian,Supervisor of Maint. for CemRock here in Jax, two grand-daughters and one grandson. My husband is now retired from Jefferson/Smurfitt Ferandinia Beach, where he was Supervisor of the Maint. department for several years. I still work and am employed with Riverside Hairstyling Acdy. as teacher/registor and head of the admissions department. Dean and I are selling our home of thirty one years and will be moving into a Condo this year. We also plan to continue to travel and see as much of the U.S. as we can before we are way to old to even see. If you remember I have two sisters, Wanda and Ethel, both still living in Jax. For the past ten years I have been doing genealogy research for myself and for friends. This has been very rewarding for me as well as enjoyable. My best friends in school were Kathy Davis and Barbara Shumate. I had the pleasure of visiting Barbara in Orlando about a year ago. We laughed most of the night about the things we did which no one knew about not even each other. Surprising what a little wine will do to two old ladies. I also have written a little poetry here and there as well as a short story which no one has read I bet. I have mostly written it for myself. I still have my year book which I look at about once a year and wonder what the heck these people look like now. I do hope all have had as good a life as I. I think I am now an old lady but not gray haired thanks to color. My husband and I did not sell our home and move into a Condo. Just could not confine ourselves that much yet. Dean and I adopted two children which made us a family seven. Our youngest son is now 20 years old and our adopted daughter is 21. This was rewarding and helped to keep us young and on our toes.
