Life
I left Rosemere to live in Pte.Claire,had a series of office jobs,got married in 1972, have 2 kids, born 1977(girl), 1983(boy).Spent total of 2-1/2yrs. overseas in Korea where my husband worked for A.E.C.L.,ret'd to Que.till 1991,moved to Ont.Started working again to put kids thru Uni., where both are now, son in Ottawa U., taking Accounting, Dau. graduated from Bishop's U, previously from Guelph U., now living & teaching in Maniwaki, Que. Married 33 yrs. same guy; his mother now lives with us since death of her husband.(family from Verdun, Que.) I have travelled some, would like to do more eventually. Very interested in Family History, founding memeber of Que. Family History Society.As of 2006, my husband Steve retired from A.E.C.L.,loves to golf & play oldtimers hockey; has started to do renos on the house.My son Sean has graduated from Ottawa U. with B.Comm in Accounting (cum laude)& is working on his C.A., still lives in Ottawa,works for Welch & Co.My daughter is building a new house with her partner in St.Therese de Gatineau, just outside of Maniwaki;she still teaches (grade 2),she just returned from a 5-week trip to Scotla...Expand for more
nd,N.Ireland,Ireland & N.England. I am not holidaying this summer as I need Carpal Tunnel surgery,which is 3 weeks off work.When I have it plan on visiting family in Campbell River,B.C. & Seattle, Washington.I spent 4 days in June at a Family History Conference at McGill in Mtl.,enjoyed it tremendously, visited & stayed with old friends from Chateauguay. We are having a great summer here, lots of sun.An old friend from Pte.Claire visited from Australia,where she now lives.We lived together in the '60s, the old Rabble crowd,which Don Tarleton (aka Donald K.Donald)did not approve of. Remember the Hot Spot??

I have worked at Henry Birks & Sons,(1967-68; Firth Brown Steels(1968);Northern Electric (Lachine) 1968-77;Paramed, Ont.(1991-1994);North Renfrew Longterm Care Centre (1994 - present.)
I am retired now, as of Nov. 30/11; the health care field is way too stressful & busy for me at this age. Hubby has been retired for almost 6 yrs, we have our house up for sale, plan on moving to Nova Scoita when it does sell. My daughter & her family live there now. If we are still in Ontario this summer I hope to attend the reunion in Aug.
