Dawn Louise's Story
Life
A lot has happened in 35 years. I spent the first ten years of my career in the lumber and logging industry, living in Vancouver for a while, then onto smaller pastures like Tahsis, Clinton, Williams Lake and Prince George. The back to Vancouver where I changed horses and joined the mineral industry where I remain today, gold mining in particular with Eldorado Gold Corporation. Our family home is in White Rock, but due to the commute (which has become horrific in the past few years) I now live Monday to Friday in Vancouver and travel home to the husband, kids, dogs and cats on the weekends. Lots of travel, lots of laughs through the years, a good life and I'm grateful for it. My dad passed away some 15 years ago, my mom, still alive 87 lives with us in White Rock. Sisters Dianne and Joanne, one in Ontario, one on Pender Island. Busy life, but a good one.
