Louise's Story
Life
It is now 2018 and we have been married almost 35 years. We now have 5 grandchildren. We are semiretired and I run my own wedding planning, decor, wedding rental, and seamstress business. We still attend the same church now called Kingdom Life Community Church in Morrison. My parents have slowed down a lot and I help them to doctors, etc. Steve's folks have both passed away.
As of 1-14-09 we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. I am married to Steve Poulter from Prophetstown. We have four children: Christopher - 23, a computer technician for ADM in Clinton and he has a little girl, Taylor who is 3 1/2; Kathy - 21 who is a worship music leader and a cosmetologist at Extreme Image outside of Morrison, lives at home with us She is also back in school at Capri College getting her Esthe...Expand for more
tics degree; Mary -18 and about to graduate from Sterling Christian School in Galt,She will either be in Germany for a year or in college for music and theatre next year; and Bette Jean 16, a junior at SCS, who is our resident artist and a photographer.We live north of Morrison, close to my parents. I teach at Sterling Christian School, help with athletics and sponsor Student Council at Sterling Christian. My life is BUSY. We attend Open Bible Fellowship Church in Morrison, and God is the most important aspect of my life. I try to serve the Lord in everything I do. Steve's Dad is still in the nursing home in Prophetstown, so that takes another chunk of time and is a hard part of our life. My folks live close to us and are in relatively good health after Dad had a quintuple bypass last fall.
