Life
I joined the AirForce a week after I graduated from Rivera. I was stationed in Japan for 7 seven years, and had my son Nick. I was then transferred to Honolulu, Hawaii. We loved it there... However, all good things must come to an end...after 4 and a half yrs. I got transferred to McGuire AFB, NJ. I deployed to Tallil AB, Iraq in support of Iraqi Freedom for almost 5 months. I met some wonderful people and saw the other side of the military. It was an unforgetable experience. I have a dog, Spike. He is now the baby in the family. I've completed my bachelor's degree in computer science, and my Master's in Mathematical Computer Science. It's been hard on my family, but it will pay off at the end...My son encour...Expand for more
ages me to continue with a PhD in Mathematics, maybe next year!
From Jan-Apr 07, I've was away from home at training in Ft. Riley KS. I was preparing for my one year deployment to Afghanistan. It was FUN! In April I left to Afghanistan to mentor the Afghanstan National Army (ANA). I interact with the ANA on a daily basis. They are very nice people and appeciate our presence in their country. I missed everyone...but most importantly...my little man, Nick!
At my return, I relocated back to Hawaii for another 3 yrs. I was hoping to retire in Hawaii, however I got transferred again back to the states. Now, stationed in Florida...my future is looking up and a step closer to retirement. For now, life in paradise is lovely!
