Luann's Story
Life
I live in Buda, Texas, a neighborhood south of Austin, with my hubby of 25+ years and my old doggie, Sandy, and my new puppy, Dutch. Sandy is a 13 year old springer spaniel and Dutch was born in 2007 in Michigan and is a golden retriever. I work as a counselor at Kyle Medical Center, seeing folks with depression, anxiety, and relationship problems. I love my work helping people through difficult times to find a way to feel better about themselves and their families. I have two grown sons who are both married to lovely girls. Austin with Becca. No grandchildren yet, but I am looking forward to that phase of my life when it happens. My husband, Scott, was a businessman for 30 years, retired and wrote a couple of books, then felt called to the ministry at the ripe old age of 53! He surprised us all by putting up with 3 years at the Presbyterian seminary in Austin, and now he is a wonderful pastor for a small church in far south Austin. I sing in the choir there and teach Sunday School. I enjoy movies, walking, reading, and being with family and friends. I am happiest in a group of people I love, which I am blessed to experience often.
